I like doing a bunch of personal and emotional portraits. They are most probably my specialty. I normally focus on the look in the eyes. Start sketching traditionally (other times directly on my tablet), and them selectively add color depending on the case and the purpose.
// me gusta hacer multitud de retratos personales y emotivos. Son muy probablemente mi especialidad. Normalmente me concentro en la mirada. Empiezo abocetando tradicionalmente con grafito (otras veces directamente en la tableta), y entonces selectivamente voy añadiendo color dependiendo del caso y del propósito.

I like to give my portraits a psychological quality, as if you could tell how the subject would behave in a given situation, and I am exploring that mainly through focusing on the glances, and through symbolism, quotes and stuff around the character.

In the case of the most "finished" pieces I en up adding some bright highlights very intuitively where I want to draw more attention.
